eMorse Series
Type B Residual Current Test Bench
Product Overview
Designed and manufactured by Mega-Senway Electronic Technology Ltd., Shanghai, the eMorse® Series Automatic Residual Current Test Bench is test equipment for evaluating the basic performance of residual current protection products. Full waveform coverage and fully automated testing software enable efficient performance testing of Type A and Type B residual current protection products.
Applications
Automated production testing and R&D testing in the low-voltage electrical apparatus industry for RCBO and RCCB products used in residential applications and mRCD products used in industrial applications.
Functions
Tripping current test : The current can be increased gradually to test tripping current in accordance with IEC 61009. The current ramp range and rate can also be adjusted to meet actual production requirements and improve testing efficiency.
Tripping time test :Tests the product’s tripping time when residual current is applied suddenly.
Closing-under-residual-current test : Tests the product’s tripping time when it is energized while residual current is present.

System Advantages
1. High-speed, fully automated testing:
The eMorse software automatically controls power to the test bench hardware, residual current application, and fixtures such as automatic reclosing devices. This enables high-speed, fully automated testing. For Type A and Type B residual current protection products, which require numerous test items, testing efficiency can be more than 2–3 times higher than with conventional fully manual testing.
2. Automatic data storage:
The software-controlled automated test system stores complete details of every test, facilitating quality traceability and root-cause analysis.
3. Comprehensive coverage of performance tests specified by standards:
The equipment is designed around the tests specified in IEC and GB standards and fully meets the relevant requirements for testing basic residual current performance.
4. User-friendly and easy to operate:
To change products, the operator simply loads the corresponding test plan. Test plans are highly configurable and editable. One-touch testing substantially reduces training requirements and the risk of incorrect test results.
