Mega-Phase Launches MastCurr® Series Type B Residual Current Detection Modules

2018-05-31

Mega-Phase recently launched the MastCurr Series Type B residual current detection modules. From the original single eMorse Series residual current test system, to the MastCurr Series Type B residual current detection modules now being shipped, and then to professional board-level Type B current detection solutions, the expanding product family demonstrates Mega-Phase’s technology R&D capabilities in Type B residual current and its comprehensive product strategy in this field.

In terms of performance, MastCurr Series modules fully comply with IEC standards and have a maximum power consumption of only 50mW. They are compatible with a broad range of residual current specifications, including 30mA, 100mA, 300mA, and 500mA. The MastCurr Series can be widely used in low-voltage electrical products such as RCDs and mRCDs, electric vehicle charging points and charging cables, and products requiring DC detection, such as RCMUs for photovoltaic inverters.

MastCurr Series modules are leading Type B residual current detection products. Their standardized, modular packages are flexible and lightweight and occupy little PCB space. Within their ratings, they can be applied in different circuit designs, providing a degree of versatility. Compared with discrete designs, the MastCurr Series makes it easier for electronics engineers to optimize PCB designs and improve space utilization.

n terms of technology assurance, Mega-Phase owns all intellectual property rights to this module series. This advantage demonstrates the company’s technical capabilities while helping customers avoid intellectual property risks, supporting their long-term interests.
